Senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar has said that BJP veteran Yashwant Sinha has echoed what the Congress has been saying about the state of the economy post-demonetisation.
Aiyar also suggested that the former finance minister should consider switching over to the Congress.
Dismissing the media reports on his remarks about party polls as "distorted", Aiyar said that the "entire Congress" was united in its determination that either party president Sonia Gandhi continues in her incumbent role or vice president Rahul Gandhi takes charge of the top organisational post.
Speaking to PTI Bhasha, Aiyar also referred to his recent article to say that Rahul is the party's best bet to lead it in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
"There is nothing like 'dynasty' in it...but it is something every Congress worker wants, that either the mother continues to lead the party or her son takes charge of it," Aiyar said.
