Going by the latest changes, Station Director R S Sundar has been made the Site Director, whereas M Kasinath Balaji, so far in that post, has been promoted and made as the Executive Director (Operations - Light Water Reactors) and shifted to Mumbai.
Speaking to PTI, Balaji said "I'm happy that we have been able to withstand the tough times. I'm sure that we will soon be able to commission the first unit here. Though I will be in Mumbai, I shall always want to see KNPP realise its goals soon."
He would take over his new position in a couple of days.
Sundar said his plan was "very simple".
"We will work hard towards the commissioning of the first unit. Then, we will focus on other things."
While Sundar would be replaced by Harinarayan Sahu as Station Director, S V Jinnah would replace Sahu as the Chief Superintendent. PTI DSJ BN
