Six members of a gang who allegedly stole more than 100 cars were arrested here, police said today.
Saddam, Sakir, Kurdeep, Amarjeet, Akbar and Prahlad, all residents of Rajasthan, were nabbed from Sohna road last night, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajesh Duggal said.
They had allegedly stolen at least 104 vehicles from different locations in Gurgaon and surrounding areas.
In a bid to escape, the accused had fired at the police party when they were intercepted and cornered yesterday, he said.
Police later recovered five country-made revolvers, six live bullets and one pick-up vehicle from their possession.
