"Six people were detained from south Delhi area late last night and five of their associates have also been identified," a senior Delhi Police official said.
Several police teams are carrying out a series of raids across Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh to nab those identified in the case.
Although senior police officers are tight-lipped over the case, police sources said that investigators are waiting for the complete recovery and arrests of all those involved in the robbery before going on record naming the accused and revealing the entire plot.
Tuesday's robbery, one of the biggest in the national capital in terms of money involved, was carried out in a matter of minutes.
