The snake, which was coiled in an electric box, was rescued by the Wildlife SOS Rapid Response Team after panic struck authorities reported its presence to police, who in turn called the animal rescue team.
"Startled at seeing a large snake entangled in the wires, the university faculty called the PCR who in turn informed Wildlife SOS on their helpline.
"The snake perhaps found the electricity box a safe place to hide, away from the bustling university campus. Unfortunately, it got tangled up in the wires and suffered some minor injuries," the Wildlife SOS said in a statement.
