The incident took place in Jagatpur Panwaria locality when the procession was stopped by some persons from one of the rival groups, leading to clashes between them, they said.
The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where the condition of one was stated to be serious, they said.
Tension prevailed in the area after the clash and district magistrate Abhishek Prakash and SP Satyaveer Singh were camping in the area to defuse the situation.
