At least six members of a family were injured, three of them seriously, in a clash over a land dispute in West Bengal's 24 Parganas (South) district today.
Police said the clash took place between members of two families at Bajesukdevpur near Kulpi in which sharp weapons were used.
The police denied the claim of a local CPI (M) leader that the ruling TMC members were involved in the incident.
The injured have been admitted to the Diamond Harbour district hospital.
