The flash flood which occurred on Saturday also washed away several dwellings at Waru village under Polosang area of Sarli circle, an official report said.
The deceased have been identified as Baru Maming (11), Baru Yapi (18), Chulla Yapak (36), Sipi Tagriu (14), Chulla Lale (12) and Vataling Tatak (22).
Terming the incident as "most unfortunate", Chief Minister Nabam Tuki announced an ex-gratia of Rs 1,50,000 each for next of kin of those killed in the incident as per relief norms.
The department of Disaster Management has also been directed to monitor the preparedness and take first hand information from all the districts.

A report from East Siang district informed that Nari area was badly hit by a cyclone yesterday.
The cyclonic storm was so massive that the uprooted trees and bamboo groves damaged several dwelling houses in the area, incurring heavy loss to the affected people.
The cyclone swept through Lumpo, Namey, Depi, Depi-Moli and Detak villages under Nari circle and Majulipur, Tako Gitung, Baikuntapur and Milonpur of Jonai circle (Assam) and badly hit power supply lines in those areas.
The uprooted trees fell into the 33 KV power supply (main) line passing along the NH-52 at four different places and completely snapped power supply in the entire area.
The Ruksin-Nari PWD road has also been blocked by uprooted trees and debris dumped by the cyclone which is yet to be cleared.
Power department sources informed that the cyclone severely damaged the power lines in the area and it would take some time for its restoration.
