A faction of the National Social Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) and Zeliangrong Union Front were partying at Haochong area, about 60 km from here, late last night when a quarrel broke out with both sides firing on each other killing four insurgents, the sources said.
Two civilians were also killed by stray bullets, they said.
Police forces from Imphal have rushed to the the spot.
