Six killed in road accidents in Jammu

Six persons were killed in as many road accidents across Jammu region of the state in the past 24 hours, police said today.
A seven-year-old boy identified as Mohammad Yousuf was crushed to death by a truck in the Narwal area of Jammu city today, a police officer said.
In another accident one Bachitar Singh died when his motorcycle was hit by a truck in the Simbal Camp area on the city outskirts yesterday, he said.
Another man, Paramjit Singh died when his motorcycle was hit by a truck on the Samba-Mansar road in Samba district last evening, police said.
Two persons identified as Amiz Farooq, a resident of Poonch and Noor Ahmed were killed in two separate road accidents in Kathua district yesterday, he said.
In another incident a truck driver identified as Dev Raj hailing from from Jammu was killed on the spot when his vehicle skid off the road and turned turtle at Gudian area of Kishtwar district yesterday, he said.
Police have registered cases in all these accidents.
