Six trekkers from Delhi and Shimla who had been missing since last Friday were rescued on Wednesday in Himachal Pradesh's tribal Kinnaur district, police said.
A rescue team comprising local police and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans located them at Sangla Jot in Kinnaur, Sangla SHO Ishwar Singh said.
They are still at Sangla Jot and will be brought to Sangla on Thursday, a district official said, adding that thereafter they would be sent to Shimla.
Three trekkers -- Ashutosh (guide), Puneet and Nikhil -- are from Jubbal area in Shimla district, whereas the other three -- Ashutosh, Honey and Deepraj -- are from Delhi.
The youths, all below 27 years of age, had started the trek from Jakha in Dodra Kwar Tehsil in Shimla district on September 21 and were supposed to reach Sangla in Kinnaur district, he added.
