Six persons killed, ten injured in accidents

At least six persons, including a woman, were killed and ten injured in two separate road accidents in Ganjam district today.
While three persons, including a woman, were killed and six injured when a tractor in which they were travelling overturned at Gopapur, three persons died and four sustained injuries when a truck rammed into a tempo at Dhenkishala.
The victims were identified as Surendra Behera (47) of Baragaon, Sudeshna Behera (25) of Pathara and Badal Kumar Beher (10) of Pathara in Gopapur accident.
Similarly Bipin Sethi (35) of Takarada, Kabiraj Gouda (51) of Thurutura and Khadala Gouda (18) of Sorada died in the accident at Dhenkishala, the police said.

The tractor overturned when it was going to Tara Tarini - a Shakti shrine in the district.
In the second accident, the tempo was going to Sheragada.
