VJ Keith Sequeira, who plays the lead in upcoming film 'Sixteen', says the movie is not limited to urban audience only.
Directed by Raj Purohit, the film explores the lives of 16-year-olds.
"'Sixteen' is for everyone. To widen our understanding, our crew traveled to cities like Kanpur, Chandigarh where people welcomed what the trailers had to show. Youth in smaller towns too relate to the problems of love, career and relationships," he told PTI.
Sequeira considers the film to be an eye-opener for both teenagers and parents who must be adaptable to change with coming generations.
"Teenagers these days explore life early, experiment and learn. Parents must understand kids and listen to their problems instead of shunning them," he said.
Sequeira who was always interested in performing arts did have acting in his bucket list but he did not expect it so soon.

"I am glad the film happened. Acting is one of the things I love the most," said Sequeira.
Although 'Sixteen', which has been certified as U/A may have some profanities in terms of language but the film is not dark.
"Audiences can enjoy, laugh and understand as the film is a mirror to society," he added.
Sequeira believes 'Sixteen' will be a step forward in a lesser explored area of films addressing problems related to the youth.
"I signed this film for it has such a strong script. The story is spot-on and a realistic depiction of problems and focuses on how children lose their innocence in this age with fast growing technologies and the media," he said.
