The boat V-410 is the sixth in the series of 15 interceptors for which the company had been given a contract.
The vessel will be commissioned intothe Indian Coast Guard at its Kochi station later, a Coast Guard release said.
This is the second such interceptor boat the BDIL has launched at its shipyard at Panambur here for the CoastGuard after the launch of V-409 in November.
Three moreinterceptor boats for the maritime force would be launchedsoon, the release said.
So far, BDIL has delivered six boats - four from its Goa shipyardand two from here.

As per Coast Guard tradition, Pawan Koyar's wife Shilpa, broke the first coconut on the frame that held V-410at the launch function yesterday.
SeniorCoast Guard officials including DIG Surendra Singh Dasila,commander, Coast Guard Karnataka and senior management of BDILled by Chief Operating Officer (COO) Narendra Kumar andShipyard president and head Pavithran Alokan were also present.
Narendra Kumar said V-410 would be delivered to Coast Guard by February 20.
The interceptor boat, propelled byArneson Surface Drive is powered by two main engines, each of1650kW capacity, built to classification requirements of theIndian Register of Shipping and stringent standards of the CoastGuard.
Despite many financial issues, BDIL showed they were committed to delivering an assigned project, Kumar said and thanked the engineers and staff who had worked on the project.
