Highlighting the importance of vocational studies, Murmu also said that quality education be made available to the people, an official release said here.
Chairing the 'Sainik Welfare Directorate', the Governor said that the Directorate be sensitive towards welfare of the widows and children of soldiers and execute their work immediately.
The meeting also gave its nod to increase wages of the Directorate's employees, who are on contract.
Additional Chief Secretary (Home) N N Pandey, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary (Planning & Finance) Amit Khare, Sainik Welfare Directorate's Brigadier B J Pathak, Brigadier Arvindam, Brigadier Anmol Sood and other officials were present in the meeting.
