Skipper, power transmission and distribution players, today said it has bagged new orders worth Rs 405 crore in its engineering products segment.
The new orders worth Rs 405 crore is for domestic transmission tower supply from Power Grid Corporation Of India (PGCIL), Transmission Corporation of Telangana (TSTRANSCO) and Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand (PTCUL), the company said in a release issued here.
"We continue to strengthen our T and D order book. With growing Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) project volume and the increased demand for transmission evacuation for renewable energy projects, we are seeing healthy demand from state electricity boards.

Under the brand Skipper, the company manufactures premium quality polymer pipes which serve both the agricultural as well as plumbing sectors.
The company with its international footprint spans across continents such as Latin America, Europe, Africa and is spread across 20 countries with presence across sub-segments such as towers, EPC, monopoles and poles.
