The relative humidity level recorded this morning stood at 54 per cent, a mer Department official said.
The weatherman has forecast rains and thunderstorm accompanied by a thunder squall over Delhi and adjoining areas from May 20-22.
The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 40.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year while the minimum temperature was pegged at 27.1 degrees, a notch above the normal.
The MeT Department has forecast overcast conditions along with thunder and lightning for today.
"Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 41 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively," he said.
