Slovenian with expired visa arrested at Indo-Nepal border

A 47-year-old Slovenian national has been arrested while he was allegedly trying to cross over to India through Indo-Nepal Border at Sonauli on expired visa papers, police said today.
Robert Doekel, who was on his way to Goa from Nepal, was arrested by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Sonauli area last night after it was found that his visa papers had expired, Sonauli check-post in-charge Raj Prakash Singh said.
A case has been registered and Intelligence Bureau has been informed about it, Singh added.
Sonauli is located on the Indo-Nepal Border and is the most popular transit point between India and Nepal.
