Small sugar eases in listless trade

Small sugar prices eased further in an otherwise listless Vashi wholesale market here today due to lower demand from millers and bulk consumers.
Meanwhile, medium sugar held stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Small sugar (S-30) moved down by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 3,832/3,901 from last Saturday's level of Rs 3,842/3,901.
However, medium sugar (M-30) ended unaltered at Rs 3,882/4,062 per quintal.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,832/3,901 (Rs 3,842/3,901).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,882/4,062 (Rs 3,882/4,062).
