Shares of Smartlink Network Systems today settled with gains of nearly 20 per cent after the company said its board will meet on April 7, to consider a share buyback proposal.
Shares of the company opened on a bullish note at Rs 96.50, then gained further ground and ended the day at Rs 107.50, up 19.98 per cent over its previous closing price.
On the NSE, the stock opened at Rs 97, and settled at Rs 106.95, up 20 per cent over its last closing price.
In a regulatory filing, Smartlink Network Systems yesterday said a meeting of the board will be held on April 7, 2018 to consider the proposal to buyback the fully paid-up equity shares of face value Rs 2 of the company.
Meanwhile, the broader market closed for the day with gains of over 577.73 points, at 33,596.80 points.
