Such was her dominance that she started four strokes behind overnight leader Vaishavi Sinha and by the time she finished, she was four strokes clear of the second placed Sharmila Nicollet at Jaypee Greens here. In the process she also carded the lowest round in leg 13.
Smriti got off to a great start, carding a birdie on the first hole. She carded two more birdies on the 3rd and 6th holes with a lone bogey on the 7th hole in the front nine. She played a bogey-free back nine and carded three consecutive birdies on the 11th, 12th and 13th holes to seal a convincing victory, her third in the last four events.
Overnight leader Vaishavi had a quiet day in office. She played a birdie-less round with two bogeys on the 3rd and 13th holes with a double bogey on the 5th hole to take her day's score to 4 over 76.

Kapurthala golfer Gursimar Badwal finished fourth behind Vaishavi with a total score of 222. She started aggressively, carding three birdies on the 1st, 3rd and 6th holes along with an equal number of bogeys on the 4th, 5th and 8th holes in her front nine. Her back nine consisted of two bogeys on the 14th and 16th holes with a lone birdie on the 13th hole.
Delhi golfer Ankita Tiwana finished fifth ahead of Pune's Shweta Galande. Ankita carded three birdies on the 1st, 9th and 14th holes. She carded an equal number of bogeys on the 3rd, 10th and 13th holes with a double bogey on the 2nd hole. With a score of two over 74 in the last round, she finished with a total score of 227.
Jaipur's Pallavi Jain and Chandigarh's Preetinder Kaur finished tied seventh with an identical score of 234 at the INR 5,00,000 event which culminated today.
