Social awareness needed to stop infiltration: RSS leader

Terming the infiltration from Bangladesh as threat to national security and integrity, RSS leader J Nandkumar today said there was a need to raise social awareness about its ill effects on the economy and society.
"Infiltration from Bangladesh is a threat to national security and integrity. Due to Infiltration especially in bordering areas of Assam and Bengal, the demographic profile of certain districts in Assam has completely changed," the deputy-chief of the national publicity wing of RSS said.
Nandkumar said that apart from the steps taken by the central government to stop infiltration, there was a need to raise the awareness among the masses about its ill effects on society and economy.

"We need to raise the social awareness among the Masses about infiltration. Many people are not at all bothered about this menace," he said.
