The plant, inaugurated by Managing Director Jeevandas Narayan at a function here, is expected to reduce by 67 per cent power bills of the bank's Staff Training Centre by generating 120 units of non-conventional energy per day, a press release said.
The plant is the first project completed under the 'Solar Connect' programme of ANERT.
The expenditure of Rs 23 lakh, with a subsidy of Rs 9.63 lakh, is expected to be recovered within four years.
This project also enables reducing annual carbon dioxide by 21.6 tonnes.
