The incident came to light this morning and the deceased has been identified as Divya.
Divya was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her house by her husband, a soldier posted in Delhi Cant, when he returned home after his night duty.
"Her children were asleep when she took her life. We are told that she had some health problems and she was depressed due to it," a senior police official said.
