Somaiya, who handed documents pertaining to the alleged transactions by the two ministers through "bogus" companies to Moily, requested him to order special probe under Section 234 to 251 of the Companies Act into the alleged deals.

While Sunil Tatkare is the Irrigation Minister in Congress-NCP ruled Maharashtra, Chhagan Bhujbal is the PWD Minister in the state. Both are NCP leaders.

"I met Corporate Affairs Minister Veerappa Moily today and handed over atleast 350 pages of documentary evidence to him, which he has passed on to his Ministry officials for further probe," Somaiya said.

He alleged there is a list of "100 bogus companies of the two Ministers" which have also been handed over to the Ministry officials.

"I also held discussions with Secretary, Corporate Affairs, and handed over the documents, who has assured me of getting the transactions probed. He has already sent the documents to the concerned Registrar of Companies in Mumbai and Kolkata to study the documents thoroughly," he said.

The former BJP MP also met the Director of Investigations in the Corporate Affairs ministry and handed over a set of documents to him as well.

The two ministers, he said, are embroiled in controversy over alleged "corrupt practices" and misuse of power and sought a probe against them for alleged money laundering.
