The company, which had a turnover of Rs 1,805 crore last year, expects the sanitaryware segment to contribute about Rs 400 crore in the overall revenue in the next three to four years.
As part of the expansion, the company has more than tripled its production capacity of sanitaryware products from 3.03 lakh pieces per annum to up to 11.50 lakh pieces this year at its manufacturing unit in Gujarat.
"We will be visible across India and Somany will soon be a pan India sanitaryware brand within a year," Somany Ceramics Managing Director Abhishek Somany told PTI.
The new segment has current sales of Rs 70 crore and the company expects a sales growth of 40-50 per cent next year.

"From the current figure, we hope to grow at least by about 40-50 per cent next year. Current sales is about Rs 70 plus crore," Somany said.
He further said, currently sanitaryware and bath fittings together contribute 7.5 per cent of the company's total turnover and in the next three years we want to take it up to 15 per cent of the overall revenue.
Somany Sanitaryware will compete with the likes of Hindware, Parryware, Cera and Jaquar.
"Currently, we have about 1,800 dealers and 8,000 touch points. We are going to increase our presence within our existing dealers," Somany said.
