"The maximum temperature was recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal. The humidity levels oscillated between 65-78 per cent," a MeT official said.
The visibility recorded at 5.30 AM was 1,000 metres which expanded to 1,200 metres by 8.30 AM.
A Northern Railways official, however, said that around 20 north-bound trains were running behind their schedule due to early morning fog.
The weatherman has predicted a clear day for tomorrow.
"The sky will be mainly clear. Shallow or moderate fog is likely. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be 11 and 21 degrees Celsius respectively," the official said.
