The incident occurred in Mehrasar Updahyan village where Krishnan Meghwal hit his father Devi Lal Meghwal with stick last night, SHO Bhanipura police station Rajvir Singh said.
The accused was drunk when the incident occurred, he said, adding, that he has been arrested and being interrogated.
The body has been handed over to family members after postmortem today.
