The line titled Mrs Nair's High Tea was done by Aal, a traditional colouring method used in Odisha and hence it was befitting to have Mohapatra participating in its celebration.
The 40-year-old singer confidently donned a long bright orange gown for the show.
Mohapatra said she was proud to walk for the designers.
"The garment that I'm wearing took 16-20 days to dye. It's an all natural dye. The more you wear these garments the colours start getting darker and deeper," said the singer.
The collection included outfits like capes, off shoulder tops, dresses and pants. The line also saw use of soft shades of white, orange, blue, indigo in silhouettes like maxi, pleated skirts and reversible jackets.
Talking about his collection, Vikrant told reporters, "The cuts are basic. One can wear at various functions. Techniques involved pleating, quilting and a lot of handwork.
