Songwriter Teddy Geiger is 'transitioning'

Famous songwriter Teddy Geiger, who has worked with likes of Shawn Mendes, DJ Snake, Tiesto and James Blunt, has announced that he is transitioning from male to female.
Geiger, 27, broke the news on Instagram in response to a fan question and said that he has been discussing about transitioning with his family and friends.
"I am transitioning... I started talking about it with a couple of my close friends and family about a month ago and it's given me the courage to start the process.
"I feel like the next step is to tell you all. Love it or hate it, this is who I have been for a long time," he wrote.

Geiger was himself a major label artist back in 2006 when he released an album on Columbia Records and was swiftly labelled the next big thing.
In 2013, he self-released "The Last Fears" through iTunes and Spotify.
