Sonia condemns Baghdad blasts

Condemning bomb blasts in Baghdad in which at least 80 people were killed, Congress President Sonia Gandhi today expressed her condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and called for the world to "unite to fight and defeat forces of extremism".
"Sonia Gandhi has condemned bomb blasts in Baghdad which killed 80 innocent people. The past week has been terrible for humanity," a statement released by her office said.
Around 80 people were killed in a terror attack in Iraq's capital city of Baghdad today, while in Bangladesh, 20 people were killed, including a young Indian woman, in a terrorist attack at a restaurant in its capital Dhaka.
