Bollywood actress Esha married the Mumbai-based businessman in South Indian style at Iskcon temple on June 29. The reception was held last night at hotel Lalit in Andheri in suburban Mumbai.
As Sonia could not grace the occasion due to security reasons, she invited the newly wed couple to visit her at her 10 Janpath residence, Malini said.
"We had invited her (Sonia Gandhi) for the wedding but she could not make it due to security reasons. So now she has told us that whenever they (Esha and Bharat) come to Delhi they are invited for dinner," Malini told PTI.
The wedding ceremony was a private affair with only family members and close associates from the industry being invited. The reception saw a host of Bollywood and political personalities attending.
