Sonia greets Karuna on alliance victory in 98 seats

Congress President Sonia Gandhi has greeted DMK chief M Karunanidhi over the DMK-led alliance bagging 98 seats in the May 16 assembly polls.
While DMK won 89 seats, its allies Congress got eight and IUML one in the elections held to 232 constituencies.
"Congress President Sonia Gandhi greeted DMK chief Kalaignar (Karunanidhi) over the win in 98 constituencies for the DMK-Congress alliance in the Assembly election," a DMK release today said.
