Sonia to unveil Rajiv Gandhi's life-size statue in HP

Congresspresident Sonia Gandhi will unveil a life-size statue of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi at a newly-constructed government engineering college bearing his name later this month in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district.
An announcement was made in this regard by state Transport Minister G S Bali who said, "Sonia Gandhi has already confirmed that she will inaugurate the college. The programme will be attended by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and other prominent leaders of the state".
The first phase of the college has been completed with an amount of Rs 125 crore and classes have started, he said.
