Sonowal asks Haryana CM to probe Assamese singer's death

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today spoke to his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar seeking proper probe into the mysterious death of a popular Assamese actress and singer in Gurgaon.
During his telephonic conversation, Sonowal requested Khattar for ensuring proper investigation into the death of Bidisha Bezbaruah so that the bereaved family gets justice in the case, an official release said.
Sonowal is presently in New Delhi.
Meanwhile, Joint Commissioner and Nodal Officerof Delhi Police for NEPeople Robin Hibu has also requested the Gurgaon Police Commissioner for detailed investigation into the incident.
Hibu also asked the Gurgaon Police Commissioner to carry out post-mortem procedure with the help of senior doctors, the release said.

Bezbaruah, who hails from Guwahati, was found hanging in her flat in Gurgaon yesterday.
