Sher Singh (63), who had retired from Irrigation Department two years ago and was engaged in farming since then, was yesterday killed by his sons Vipin and Manoj over the property dispute, they said.
The body of Singh was found lying in a ditch with injury marks on it.
Police have detained the two accused. Further probe into the matter is on.
