"Monsoon has covered partial areas (Sawaimadhopur district and nearby region) of the state. Wind conditions are not favourable therefore the monsoon has not further advanced. For at least three-four days, the situation is likely to remain the same," MeT Director A K Srivastava, told PTI.
He said the monsoon would advance and cover other areas of the state after conditions become favourable which is most likely going to happen after four days.
Vijay nagar, Alwar, Aspur recorded 5 cm of rainfall each whereas other places received below 5 cm rains, according to Met department here.
Many places in Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer divisions, few places in Jaipur, Bharatpur and Jodhpur division and isolated areas in Bikaner division recorded light to moderate rains during this period.
