In men's U-19, Goa players S Kavathankar, Samar Dubashi, Shubham Desai, Lakshay Garg, Vidant Naik, Amulya Pandrekar and Ishant Gadekar made it to the final list. In women's U-19 category, Sanjula Nayak, Yashika Sancoalkar and V Gurav were selected.
"They will also get noticed by the national selectors if they perform well," Salkar said, hoping that in days to come Goan players would contribute to the national squad too.
