Market analysts said enlarging of positions by traders at current levels mainly attributed the rise in soybean futures here.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, soybean for delivery in June was trading higher by Rs 16 or 0.42 per cent to Rs 3,851 per quintal, having an open interest of 72,920 lots.
Also, delivery in July contracts rose by Rs 11 or 0.28 per cent to Rs 3,891 per quintal in an open interest of 53,880 lots.
