Petitioner K Kaluvaiammal (74) of Villampatti village claimed the MLA along with six others had come to her 22 acre property on Nov 20 and tried to dispossess her from the land.
She charged that the MLA had purchased the land from one Pandian after the power of attorney given to the latter was cancelled properly and legally. The MLA had also made a similar attempt on May 15, 2008, she alleged.
Kaluviammal said she and her relatives went to the registrar's office at Nilakottai to verify the cancellation details of the power of attorney, but were shocked to find that some entries were made by Pandian.
Even after the PoA assigned to Pandian was cancelled, he had sold the property to the MLA through forged documents on Nov 9th 2008. On the same day another document was executed in favour of one Renganathan and one Satyanathan, she alleged.
Though she sent a complaint to the SP Dindigul and Inspector, Anti Land Grabbing Special Wing, Dindigul on Nov 30 2015,they had failed to take action and hence she moved court.
After hearing the argument, Justice S Vaidyanathan directed police to file their response in two weeks.
