"SP had transferred its vote in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls to BJP after which it's (SP's) condition has been very bad and this is the reason as to why the Chief Minister has been repeatedly talking about an alliance," a BSP release quoting Mayawati said here.
"It needs to be pondered seriously as to why the chief minister who fought the 2012 Assembly polls alone feels the need for an alliance in the coming elections," she said.
Akhilesh has said, "Tickets are changed till last moment. We will only field those who can win elections. I will give my suggestions and advice on Assembly tickets to the party president."
Vote to SP would eventually help BJP which has forced hardships on the people through its "immature decision" on demonetisation, she said.

The BSP president reminded the SP leadership that though her party failed to win a single seat in the last Lok Sabha polls, it emerged as the third biggest party after BJP and Congress on the basis of votes percentage.
"They need to review their decision or else people will punish them for this action of theirs when the time comes," she warned.
