He said he had a discussion with CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat today and other Left leaders in this regard.
"In the context of present political situation, there is a need to advance the interests of farmers, labourers, women and poor people. I have had long discussion with Left parties' leaders and spoke to Karat today," he said.
SP party gives outside support to the UPA.
In his brief address at an event, Yadav expressed grave concern over the situation on the border and termed India's position "humiliating".

"Some country's army intrudes into our area, moves around and then leaves at their will. We can't reply strongly. It is against our self respect," he said in an apparent reference to Chinese troops' intrusion.
"We have to keep our weapons ready", he said, stressing that a country can be economically strong only when its borders are secured.
SP general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav, MP Jaya Bachchan were also present besides several other party leaders.
