SP leader's body found hanging from tree in UP

The body of a Samajwadi Party leader was found hanging from a tree in Surajpur area today, police said.
The relatives and supporters of the deceased, Sanjay Nagar, have claimed that he was murdered.
A former state secretary of the Samajwadi Party Youth Wing, Nagar's body was found this morning with a note requesting senior SP leaders to look after his children.
"We found some letters from his clothes where he requested District Magistrate N P Singh, and senior SP leaders Rajkumar Bhati, Narendra Nagar and others to take care of his children after his death," SHO Anuj Kumar said.

"Three days prior to the incident he had an argument with a number of traders. Police are investigating the matter," Kumar added.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
