The party's UP president and state chief minister Akhilesh Yadav directed that the meeting at all the district headquarters should start from June 2.
Party spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said that later in June, these meetings would also be organised at block level to establish a dialogue between the party workers and common people.
"The chief minister has given a new agenda of development in the state and initiated a number of schemes for the social and economic development of farmers, poor, backwards and minorities during the past two years," he said.
Later, the party also dissolved its state unit.
SP was reduced to five seats out of 80 in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. Only Mulayam Singh Yadav and his three family members emerged victors.
