SP takes stock of law and order situation

The Rampur Superintendent of Police wearing civilian clothes today took stock of the law and order and the traffic situation in the city.
SP Vipin Tada rode on a motor cycle to check if policemen were on duty and indulging in corruption, the police said.
He took the step after receiving complaints about police personnel taking bribes from communters, they said.
A police constable was allegedly found taking a bribe near the Dhakiya Police Outpost and an inquiry has been initiated, the police said.
