The Speaker adjourned the Odisha Assembly Tueday for an hour as opposition Congress and BJP lawmakers raised slogans in support of the their demands.
Speaker P K Amat adjourned the proceeding for one hour till 11.30 am.
As soon as the House proceedings started, the BJP members wearing black gowns raised the issue of alleged Cooperative bank loan scam. They demanded a CBI probe into the scam and sought statement from the government.
The opposition Congress also raised the issue of lawyers agitation and asked the state government to immediately intervene and resolve the issue.
Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra said that several courts across the state including the High Court has remain paralysed for about 20 days due to lawyers agitation over some issue or the other.
"I appeal the state government intervene and resolve the matter. It will be disastrous, if the judicial system is paralysed," Mishra said.

BJP Legislature Party leader K V Singhdeo said that the lawyers in western districts of the state are in agitation demanding a bench of the High Court in their region.
The ruling BJD members also raised the issue of an objectionable video posted by a man on Sun Temple, Konark claiming that the video is promoting communalism and also denting the image of Odisha.
