"If they get space in news, more and more legislators would be driven to come prepared to the House and conduct themselves better in the House," he said while addressing editors and state bureau chiefs of media organisations.
"Legislators say that while those disrupting House proceedings and raising slogans get good media coverage but those speaking on debate on any topic after preparing on the subject well are generally ignored... It discourages them," he said.
The Assembly was also organising a special session with experts in Legislative Business to help the legislators actively participate in the proceedings during the monsoon session beginning next Friday.
