Speaker Sumitra Mahajan today disapproved a BJD member's remark that members are feeling like "nomadic tribes" as seats are yet to be allocated.
Cautioning members to be careful in their language, Mahajan said members should understand the rules and regulations and should not hurt the sentiments of others by making uncharitable and unsavoury remarks.
In an obvious dig at BJD member Pinaki Misra, she said even nomads follow rules.
Yesterday, Misra had created a flutter by his remarks that the lawmakers were roaming like "nomadic tribes" in the absence of dedicated seats to them.
Mahajan said though allocation of seats to members is decided by the Speaker's office, the same has been delayed as certain suggestions made by various parties are still being looked into.
Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu also said members "should know the rules and regulations" before making allegations.

The matter is decided by the Speaker and no one should cast aspersions on the Chair, he added.
Reports had it that the allocation of seats to the members in the 16th Lok Sabha has got delayed because Mahajan faces a tricky situation in view of the fact that AIADMK, Trinamool Congress and BJD are not keen about the idea of sitting next to Congress.
Several rounds of meetings have been held to sort out the matter and the decision is expected soon.
