Speaker highlights role of media in bringing good governance

Manipur Assembly Speaker Y Khemchand Singh today highlighted the "importance of media in bringing good governance" in the state.
Khemchand was speaking at the first ever "media and parliamentary reporting seminar" organised by Manipur Legislative Assembly for the media fraternity of the state.
The speaker stressed that the fourth estate has much responsibility to spread awareness.
The seminar was organised for the media fraternity of the state to impart deeper knowledge on ""Parliamentary Procedures" and "Reporting of the Proceedings of the House and Breach of Privilege and Contempt of the House".
