Special camps to be held in Haryana ahead of Int'l Yoga Day

Special yoga training camps will be organized in Haryana by experts of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar, ahead of the International Yoga Day on June 21.
An official spokesman today said yoga experts from Patanjali will train Physical Training Instructors (PTIs) and Degree holders in Physical Education (DPEs) appointed in all, government and private schools in the state for three days, starting May 25.
He said the Director Secondary Education, Haryana has sent a written communication to all district education officers and district elementary education officers to spread information regarding the yoga training camp.
The training camps which will be organised in all districts starting May 25 from 6 AM to 7.30 AM and will be held at the sports stadiums in each district, he said.
Notably, Yoga Guru Ramdev had recently been appointed as brand ambassador by the BJP government in Haryana for the promotion of Yoga and Ayurveda.
In Gurgaon, the camp will be organized in Tau Devi Lal Stadium Sector 38.
